Are you working with sore shoulders?
Got a pain in the neck?
Massage will relax you, ease soft tissue pain and be a positive experience in your work day.
Massage at work is similar to conventional massage except it's performed over your clothing using a variety of kneading, pressing and wringing techniques. Massage is an effective intervention for RSi and many of the accumulating tensions that develop at static work stations. Massage eases these muscular tensions, harmonising muscule tone, helping you to feel pain free and making the massage a peak experience in your working day.
My knowledge and experience will help identify the issue and means if I can't help you, I will say so.
Each treatment is individually tailored to you so it fits in with the other important activities in your day such as meetings or visits to the gym.
The most common complaint of massage therapists is that they use too much pressure. However, this will not happen with me. I use the pain scale method (1 = no pain, 10 = very painful). This easy system ensures clear communication so you receive the right pressure at the right place for optimum therapeutic value and enjoyment.
Each treatment last about 25 minutes and can be performed in an open-plan office or a private room.
There's no need to talk (although some regulars never stop) and to enhance a sense of ease I play gentle classical music.
It's easy to see how massage can quickly and effectively shift the mood at work. Your upper body tensions are eased. You relax and unwind. Your breathing is calmed and heart rate and blood pressure are lowered.
Massage can turn any work day around or make a good day even better.
